the face behind the method

I’m Cora Hendron — founder and director of Body by ORA and the woman behind the movement.

I’ve strength trained for over 7 years, but after suffering a spinal injury in April 2025, my relationship with movement completely changed. Pilates became part of my rehabilitation and quickly turned into something much bigger than recovery alone.

In December 2025, I began training with APPI, combining my background in strength training with a new understanding of intentional movement, mobility, and wellbeing.

Through travelling around the world, from London to Tokyo, I experienced wellness spaces and concepts that completely changed my perspective on movement and lifestyle. I realised Ireland needed something different. Not just another Pilates class — a concept, a lifestyle, a movement.

We, as Irish people, don’t always step outside the box when it comes to fitness and wellbeing. We stick to what we know: the same routines, the same environments, the same approach. But that’s changing.

ORA was created to be part of that change.

Exercise is about so much more than physical appearance. It has the ability to strengthen the mind, build confidence, create discipline, and reconnect us with our bodies in a completely different way.

What started as rehabilitation became a vision for something bigger — a modern wellness experience designed to help people move better, feel stronger, and live more intentionally.

I’ve travelled, I’ve learned, and now it’s go time.

Not just a workout. A lifestyle.
The ORA Body Method.
